SITE Staffing Inc. is seeking a Resident Support Specialist for 1st shift in Milwaukee, WI. This role provides direct supervision, engagement, and support to residents in a Veterans-focused environment, ensuring safety, structure, and access to services.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents, coordinating with case managers, documenting shifts, and enforcing facility policies. You will respond to emergencies, assist with daily living skills, and help maintain a clean, orderly living

Qualifications

• Supervise residents daily and ensure safety.
• Demonstrate de-escalation skills during crises.
• Respond quickly to emergencies with calm and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision, engagement, and support to residents.
• Conduct routine wellness and safety checks, including overnight and weekend shifts.
• Offer emotional support and de-escalation during resident crises.
• Assist residents with daily living skills, chores, and compliance with facility rules.
• Maintain shift documentation, incident reports, and resident logs per standards.
• Assist in intake, orientation, and exit processes for residents.
• Collaborate with case managers, clinicians, and other service providers to support individualized care plans.
• Monitor and report facility maintenance or safety issues.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of common areas; assist residents with personal spaces.
• Administer and monitor curfews, sign-in/out logs, and visitor policies.
• Intervene in emergencies (medical, behavioral, environmental) and follow protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical boundaries in all interactions.
• Participate in data collection and reporting for grants.
