Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking dedicated staff for an overnight shift to provide ongoing care and treatment for residents with mental illness in a community-based group home in Madison, WI.

Onsite role includes ensuring safety, administering medications, and coordinating with staff and case managers. You will supervise residents, document care, participate in recovery planning, transport residents when needed, and help residents access community resources.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 credits or 2 years of human services work experience.
• High School diploma preferred; college degree preferred.
• Knowledge of mental illness and ability to support daily living skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, assistance and supervision to residents.
• Secure the facility at night and ensure proper staffing before morning shift.
• Dispense/monitor medications and report compliance to staff.
• Document resident care, safety checks and licensure requirements.
• Promote recovery plans and cultural diversity in care.
• Communicate with residents, families and professionals as needed.
• Transport residents as needed and support community integration activities.
