Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents in learning independent living skills (laundry, housekeeping, cooking, time/money management).
• Administers consumer medication under supervision and DHS 83 regulations.
• Documents residents’ daily behavior and routine.
• Reports changes in client condition to supervisor/physician.
• Perform shift duties and keep the house clean per DHS 83 rules.
• Train new/existing staff.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Arrange transportation to programs, work, or school.
• Plan and serve nutritious meals and manage weekly groceries.
• Report safety issues to Property Management and participate in drills.
