Job summary

Valor Healthcare in Boise, ID seeks a licensed mental health professional to provide individual and group psychotherapy for veterans and military families. You will assess psychosocial needs, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a veteran-focused environment.

Candidates must hold a state license (Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW), have at least two years of therapy experience, and be US citizens

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice independently in ANY state (Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, LCSW).
• PsyPact for Psychologist is required.
• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field or doctoral degree in psychology.
• Minimum of 2 years' therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and group interventions to support patients with health psychology presentations and related psychosocial stressors.
• Provide cognitive screening to address functional and/or cognitive ability questions.
• Provides immediate access to clinical assessment and appropriate collaborative care and treatment for mental health symptoms.
• Provides psychosocial assessments to determine needs of patient and families, and develops treatment plans.
• Follows suicide prevention guidelines and risk assessment documentation and training requirements.
