Job summary

Veterans Inc. is seeking an Employment and Training Case Manager to reintegrate homeless and at-risk veterans into meaningful employment. You will conduct client assessments, provide counseling and advocacy, and outreach to locate veterans for program placement.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least two years in employment training or similar areas, with a valid driver's license and MS Office proficiency. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field required. Military experience could substitute.
• Minimum of two years experience in Employment Training, Vocational Rehabilitation, Recruitment, Counseling, Outreach/and/or Services to the Homeless, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Daily functions include job coaching, resume building, job searches, and mock interviews.
• Performs initial intake and assessments of all veterans for acceptance into Veterans Inc. programs.
• Assists veterans in developing individual training plans that fit their needs and skills.
• Tracks and reports case management progress through notes and conferences with the manager; completes monthly reporting.
• Coordinates with funding sources and other veterans services providers.
• Develops relationships with local employers and career centers to facilitate transitions into work.
