Job summary

Veterans Inc. in Lewiston, ME is seeking an Employment and Training Case Manager to help reintegrate homeless and at-risk veterans into meaningful employment.

You will assess clients, develop training plans, provide counseling and advocacy, and build relationships with local employers to create pathways to work. The role involves conducting outreach, attending events, and helping veterans navigate benefits and supportive services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field required.
• Minimum of two years experience in Employment Training, Vocational Rehabilitation, Recruitment, Counseling, Outreach/and/or Services to the Homeless, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Daily functions include job coaching, resume building, job searches, and mock interviews.
• Performs initial intake and assessments of all veterans for acceptance into Veterans Inc. programs; develops individual training plans.
• Tracks and reports case management progress through notes and conferences with the manager; maintains monthly reporting in the agency database.
• Assists veterans with researching and accessing services from public sources or the VA.
• Conducts outreach to market Veterans Inc. programs and engages new referral sources.
