Job summary

Bellevue University is seeking a Veterans Benefits Coordinator to manage day-to-day Veterans’ Educational Benefits programs. The role involves responding to inquiries, processing benefit requests, and ensuring compliance with VA and DoD regulations within Campus Solutions and Salesforce.

The ideal candidate will maintain student records, review degree audits for eligibility, and collaborate with the VA to align financial experiences with the university's values.

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with Department of Defense active-duty educational benefits programs.

Responsibilities

• Manages accounts for students using the Department of Veterans Affairs education benefits.
• Submits certification via VA Once website per the DVA School Certifying Officials Handbook.
• Analyzes and processes VA Certificates of Eligibility and Benefit Statements for proper campus setup and submissions.
• Analyzes official degree audit reports for prior credit to determine enrollment eligibility.
• Creates Salesforce tasks and notes for certifications per established processing strategy.
• Ensures all student files comply with Department of Veteran Affairs regulations.
