Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field required.
• 1–2 years of related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CPCC enrollment processes and requirements.
• Expertise in implementing financial aid and veterans’ affairs policies.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages the implementation, oversight, and regulatory processes for Veterans Affairs benefits.
• Serves as a certifying official for veteran's benefits.
• Coordinates assessment activities, sets goals, clarifies policy, and develops internal controls.
• Acts as primary liaison between Financial Aid/Veteran Affairs and federal, state, and local entities.
• Designs, schedules, and facilitates training sessions for faculty.
• Maintains records, updates information, and assists in coordinating visits for prospective students.
• Establishes strategies for effective delivery of VA program benefits to support retention and recruitment.
• Assists in Colleague modules: communications management and satisfactory academic progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
