Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Veterans Affairs Education Benefits.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and explain policy.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, work independently, investigate potential discrepancies, and diplomatically communicate to the military affiliated student.
• Demonstrated ability to use Excel and perform mathematical calculations.
• Considerable knowledge of customer service techniques.

Responsibilities

• Review claims for Veterans Affairs Educational Benefits and submit certifications/verifications via Enrollment Manager portal.
• Assist students with questions related to VA benefits, in-person, over the phone, and via email.
