Job summary

CLF Consultants LLC (DBA: CLFC Healthcare and Communications) seeks entry-level Medical Support Assistants to support the Hampton VA Healthcare System. This on-site role handles appointment scheduling, patient communications, and records management across VA facilities in the Hampton Roads region.

The position targets candidates with at least six months of customer service experience and a high school diploma, offering structured onboarding and federal contract stability.

Qualifications

• United States citizenship is required.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Type at least 50 WPM and have basic computer skills.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation and obtain PIV credential.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Schedule veteran appointments for primary care and specialty clinics per policy.
• Conduct pre- and post-appointment confirmations with veterans and families.
• Document interactions in CPRS and VistA per contract standards.
• Route referrals and track status through HSRM and PPMS.
• Provide professional customer service via phone and secure channels.

Education
