Job summary

The Minnesota Veterans Home in Minneapolis is seeking a part-time registered nurse (0.60 FTE) for the day shift (6:30 am – 3:00 pm). This role offers a $2.75/hour shift differential for hours between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm and eligibility for partial health/dental insurance benefits.

The position requires MN RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and strong charting skills with PointClickCare. You will provide professional nursing services in a long-term care facility, assess residents, implement orders, mentor

Qualifications

• Licensed in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain by date of hire.
• Effective communication skills to teach and instruct residents.
• Computer skills for electronic charting, specifically PointClickCare.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional registered nurse services in long-term care.
• Assess residents' needs, propose nursing interventions, implement orders and routines.
• Deliver skilled nursing care and coordinate, delegate, and review work of other nursing staff.
