Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an LPN for the Bemidji Veterans Home. You will provide person-centered nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting and administer medications under RN supervision.

Position is part-time with an evening shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm). State benefits, competitive wages, and opportunities for professional development are included.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse with no restrictions in good standing.
• Current BLS or CPR certification or ability to obtain by hire date.
• Computer skills for electronic charting, specifically PointClickCare.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain clear notes.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a practitioner under RN direction.
• Follow Minnesota Nurse Practice Act and regulatory requirements.
