Job summary

Brightli is seeking a Veteran Care Navigator in Springfield, MO to provide in-person peer support, helping veterans access behavioral health services and navigate transitions between care levels. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or five years of experience in behavioral health.
• State Certified Veteran Support Specialist credential or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
• Military veteran status is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person peer support, recovery education, advocacy, and case management for veterans using trauma-informed, person-centered approaches.
• Connect veterans with outpatient counseling, VA health providers, and community resources addressing their needs.
• Build relationships with veteran-serving organizations and stakeholders to increase awareness and referrals into care.
• Engage veterans and families, addressing barriers through solution-focused emotional support.
• Coordinate care across intensive and community-based settings to ensure continuity of care and meaningful engagement.
• Assess safety risks and provide appropriate interventions and referrals until stabilization.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to keep individuals connected to treatment and supports.
• Support development and improvement of programs, workflows, and networks.
• Deliver services and documentation in line with quality standards and regulations.
