Volunteers of America Mid-States seeks an Income Maximization Case Manager in Bowling Green, KY to help Veterans end housing crises. The role supports the SSVF program with income Maximization services, assists with SOAR applications, connects Veterans to benefits and community resources, and promotes long-term housing stability.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, 0–5 years (or veterans with 3 years) of related experience, and willingness to travel up

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field is required.
• 0–5 years of experience in the field (or Veteran with 3 years of related work experience) are acceptable.
• Must have a personal automobile, valid driver’s license, liability insurance, and travel up to 70% across served counties.

Responsabilidades

• Connect Veterans with benefits and other sources (SOAR, TANF, SNAP).
• Perform assessments and develop/monitor case plans with follow-up.
• Link with local agencies and service providers; coordinate with VAMCs and career centers.
• Educate participants on services and rights; provide referrals for financial planning, transportation, legal, housing counseling.
• Document and enter data into HMIS within 48 hours of contact.
