Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for the Automotive Service Technician position in Schaumburg, IL. This apprenticeship program offers hands-on experience and training to transition into the automotive industry, culminating in Kia Service Technician certification.

Participants work full-time while receiving training and tools necessary for success in a fast-paced dealership environment. The program is GI Bill® approved, helping eligible veterans with a Monthly Housing Allowance during the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
• Complete repair orders according to Kia policies.
