Job summary

KIA Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for an Automotive Service Technician role. This program offers hands-on training and assists Veterans in transitioning into the automotive industry.

Participants will gain valuable skills, work full-time at a Kia dealership, and may receive a Monthly Housing Allowance through the GI Bill. Successful completion leads to Kia Service Technician certification.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including various systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia tools.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors for customer satisfaction.
