Safford Brown Kia Manassas is seeking Military Veterans interested in a full-time Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship through the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP). This program provides hands-on experience while completing a one-year GI Bill-approved apprenticeship, leading to Kia certification. Candidates must be honorably discharged from military service and have mechanical experience. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, maintaining a safe work environment while following dealership policies.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.
Experience with mechanical or technical fields preferred.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engines and brakes.
Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
Communicate effectively with service advisors to ensure customer satisfaction.
Skills
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field
Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment
Education
