Job summary

Kiavets is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for an Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship. This GI Bill approved program allows Veterans to gain hands-on experience while completing a one-year competency-based apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, maintaining a safe work environment, and effective communication with service teams. Candidates should have an honorable discharge from military service and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Must have honorable discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines and electrical systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and mechanical repairs.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors.

Skills

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment

Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field

Education
