Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) is looking for Military Veterans to start a career as Automotive Service Technicians. Participants in this program gain hands-on experience while completing a one-year, GI Bill-approved apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, and maintaining safety protocols in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have mechanical experience and are committed to mentoring and training.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engines and transmissions.
Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures and equipment.
Communicate effectively with service advisors to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
