Job summary
A leading automotive apprenticeship program is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience to begin a rewarding career as an Automotive Service Technician. This role involves diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, while gaining practical skills and completing a one-year competency-based apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Candidates must have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service and prior experience in a technical field. The program provides full-time employment and GI Bill® benefits, including a Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA).
Qualifications
- Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and brake systems.
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia diagnostic procedures.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and maintain a safe work environment.
