Job summary

Alaska PAWS is seeking a Veterinary Customer Service Representative to be the calm, friendly voice for pet families while managing calls, appointments, and clinic support in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll ease worried owners, assist the veterinary team, and help pets live happier, healthier lives through compassionate, patient-centered service. This role is full-time and based at our Anchorage clinic.

Qualifications

• 3 years of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to type 40+ words per minute with high accuracy.
• Not less than 6 months’ experience in a medical/veterinary setting is preferred.
• High-volume appointment scheduling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the calming voice for pet owners during stressful moments.
• Manage phones, scheduling appointments, and support the veterinary team.
• Assist with paperwork and daily tasks while maintaining a fast pace.
