PetVet Care Centers' Inland Valley Veterinary Specialists in Upland, CA, is seeking a Part-Time Care Coordinator to join our emergency and specialty team. This role handles administrative duties, client communication, and scheduling in a fast-paced hospital that cares for pets around the clock.

The position offers evenings and weekend shifts, room to grow into pet nursing, and a supportive culture of care. You’ll work with experienced clinicians to deliver exceptional service to anxious pet

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older to be considered
• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills, courteous and prompt
• Currently working in the veterinary field
• Receptionist, veterinary assistants, kennel attendants, students in veterinary programs are prime candidates

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and in stressful situations
• Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, schedules appointments
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety
• Assists with medication pickups and service inquiries
• Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing
• Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and records
• Reconciles cash drawer and end-of-day transactions
