Job summary

Hornblower Group's City Experiences division seeks a Vessel Crew Technician to support Capitan and Port Engineer in vessel monitoring and preventative maintenance. The role emphasizes adherence to RESPECT values and the Safety Management System.

You will review work requests, develop maintenance orders, train crew, and help maintain engineering logs while ensuring cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• TWIC Card or ability to obtain.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 2 years’ experience on passenger vessels.
• Ability to plan and execute maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency with MS Office and logs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vessel safety and compliance with SMS and SIs.
• Develop and issue maintenance work orders.
• Maintain vessel maintenance records and logs.
• Assist in training maintenance personnel.
• Collaborate with Port Engineer and Port Captain.
• Respond to regulatory changes and safety concerns.
• Support cost-efficient operation of project vessels.
• Report deficiencies to supervisors.
