Job summary

Hornblower Group is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to oversee daily maintenance technicians aboard our vessels and facilities. You will drive safety, schedule preventive maintenance, and mentor staff to ensure reliability and compliance with SOPs.

Responsibilities include assigning work orders, tracking performance, and coordinating with other departments to minimize operational disruption. A strong background in mechanical/electrical systems and CMMS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• Hands-on maintenance experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems.
• Leadership experience in a maintenance or shipboard environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion.
• Uphold safety culture and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs.
• Develop and assign work orders and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain machinery history and equipment logs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for maintenance staff.
• Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruption.
• Mentor and train team members to foster continuous improvement.
