Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Maintenance Partner to support a team in maintaining manufacturing equipment and building systems. You will work under the Maintenance Team Leader with direct responsibilities to ensure a safe, high-quality production environment, while focusing on cost efficiency.

The role requires hands-on maintenance across electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and refrigeration systems, with emphasis on troubleshooting, PM, and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED - Required
• Ability to read, understand, and apply basic electrical and mechanical schematics, concepts, and principles - Required
• Understanding of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, lighting, foundation, plant air / cooling systems - Required
• Ability to identify entire sanitary drain system throughout the plan and locate the grease trap(s) - Required
• Ability to identify water distribution system and its individual components - Required
• Knowledge of locations and operations of power isolation devices in branch circuits - Required
• Knowledge of how to replace cylinders, valves, and pumps - Required
• Understanding of refrigeration theory - Required
• Understanding of proper ratios (glycol levels) - Required
• Ability to operate shop equipment (grinders, drills, saws, threaders, etc.) - Required

Responsibilities

• Maintains manufacturing processes and equipment in optimum condition.
• Applies understanding of team development and participates in safety and quality training.
• Operates equipment and uses test tools, adjusting set points and machine controls as needed.
