Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs across commercial buildings and facilities. Responsibilities include servicing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to emergencies as needed.

Candidate should have 2+ years of commercial property experience, a high school diploma or GED, and basic computing skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with technical training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and systems including packaging/handling machinery, plumbing, HVAC, and equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, electrical/mechanical/hydraulic devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Perform carpentry and painting tasks on finishes and surfaces.
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests as needed.
• Inspect facilities for unsafe conditions and perform preventative maintenance.
• Operate fire and life safety systems as assigned.
• Follow safe work practices and comply with codes and company directives.
