Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings and industrial systems at assigned properties. Responsibilities include servicing HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to emergencies.

A high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in a commercial property setting are required.

Qualifications

• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word
• Shift work, standby on-call duties may be required

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems (HVAC, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, grounds equipment)
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems
• Replace and repair building finishes and paint walls as needed
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests promptly
• Inspect buildings and equipment for unsafe conditions and perform preventative maintenance
• Operate fire and life safety systems as assigned
• Complete required safety training and comply with dress code
