Job summary

Legends Global in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Security and Guest Services Coordinator to oversee daily venue security, guest experience, and access control for the Tucson Convention Center complex. The role combines guest service leadership with emergency preparedness and event security experience.

You will supervise full-time and part-time staff, coordinate with operations and event teams, conduct pre-event briefings, and lead during emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior supervisory experience with directing, training, motivating and evaluating staff.
• Clear and effective directions to staff in emergency situations.
• Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other standard office software.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by welcoming guests, and being knowledgeable of venue layout, programs, and policies.
• Direct and Escort guests to important areas and provide assistance as needed.
• Handle disturbances or problems during events or at the facility.
• Inspect doors, windows, and gates to ensure security and safety.
• Assist with crowd control inside and outside the premises when necessary.
• Implement security programs, procedures, and access control systems.
