Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Security and Guest Services Coordinator to oversee daily venue security, guest services, emergency preparedness, and access control for the Tucson Convention Center complex. The role combines guest experience leadership with safety procedures and event security responsibilities.

You will supervise full-time and part-time staff, coordinate with operations and management, de-escalate conflicts, conduct pre-event briefings, and respond calmly during emergencies while

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year related experience or training.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Ability to direct, train, motivate and evaluate staff.
• OSHA knowledge and workplace safety awareness.
• Proficient with Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by welcoming guests and knowing venue policies.
• Direct and escort guests to important areas and assist as needed.
• Handle disturbances during events or at the facility.
• Tour facility to ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure.
• Assist with crowd control and access programs.
• Support security programs and life-safety policies.
• Lead and supervise security and guest services staff.
• Monitor venue compliance with policies and re-entry procedures.
• Prepare pre-event briefings and post-event reports.
• Coordinate with third party vendors and temporary staff.
• Respond calmly during emergencies and assist personnel.
• De-escalate conflicts and maintain professional interactions.
• Work with operations, security, box office, and management.
