Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Finance Manager for our Rochester venue to plan and manage all financial, accounting, purchasing, ticketing, and internal control functions in collaboration with the General Manager.

The role ensures timely financial reporting, budget adherence, payroll oversight, and compliance with state and federal laws, with a competitive salary and full benefits. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to act as Manager on Duty as required.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends when needed.
• Ability to partner with other departments to drive financial success.
• Strong knowledge of general and cost accounting.
• Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with ADP payroll.
• Industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing facility financial goals and budgets.
• Monitor compliance with the management contract.
• Coordinate with Risk Management and Insurance for coverage.
• Review contracts for clients, events, and vendors.
• Prepare event settlements and show financial reports.
• Oversee box office and ticket sale reporting and F&B accounting.
• Handle payroll as needed and prepare tax returns.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, and annual reports.
• Maintain ledgers and revenue distribution records.
• Coordinate with external auditors and implement recommendations.
