Oak View Group, based in Albany, GA, seeks an Accounting Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting across its Flint River Entertainment Complex operations. The role manages month-end close, internal controls, and staff oversight, with responsibility for cash, A/R, and A/P processes aligned to the event calendar.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and 3–5 years in arena/convention center accounting, plus strong Excel skills and experience with NetSuite and Coupa.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, public or business administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of Arena/Convention Center accounting experience; prior management preferred.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays per event calendar.
• Strong communication skills with high attention to detail; proficient in Excel.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations of the Finance Department.
• Step in to perform duties of a vacant position when necessary.
• Review credit card expense reports and receipts submitted by staff.
• Safeguard assets; conduct audits as needed.
• Assist finance leadership with timely, accurate financial statements.
• Support month-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and payroll in compliance with laws and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with the management contract and process cash flows.
• Enter accounts receivable and payable; manage box office receipts and sponsor invoices.
• Prepare post-show financials, show income/loss reports, and assist with show settlements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with external audits.
