Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Front of House Manager to support the General Manager in operating a venue with a focus on compliance, profitability, and team leadership. This role requires overseeing multiple positions and ensuring highest standards in service, safety, and guest experience.

The role demands open availability for evenings and weekends, strong interpersonal skills, and independent decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field; accounting minor or credits preferred.
• 3–5 years of management experience in the food-related industry.
• Ability to communicate with employees, guests and management professionally.
• Ability to make sound business/operations decisions quickly and under pressure.
• Solid working knowledge of computer applications: MS Office, POS systems, and timekeeping systems.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic and complex math.
• Ability to handle cash accurately.
• Maintain high standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently with little direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall effective management of catering operations.
• Ensure legal, efficient, professional, and profitable operation of the venue.
• Generate and review financial reports including budgets and P&L statements.
• Author, review, and amend policies and procedures as requested by GM.
• Oversee scheduling and labor allocation.
• Program and maintain the POS system for accurate reporting.
• Prepare and attain future goals in operations.
• Provide direction and supervision to team members.
• Inspect operations to maintain quality standards.
• Prepare reports and coordinate with department heads on reporting.
