Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a respiratory care professional to establish and manage mechanical ventilation (HFO, NPPV, PRVC, transport) with high proficiency, and to wean as ordered while developing daily care plans.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, interpreting diagnostic data, and administering therapies (heliox, nitric oxide, CNB Chest Wall Oscillation); education for patients and families is provided.

Qualifications

• Establishes and manages mechanical ventilation (e.g., HFO, NPPV, PRVC, transport) with high proficiency.
• Performs weaning as ordered and updates the care plan daily.
• Collects specimens and performs basic and complex diagnostic testing; validates results.
• Interprets diagnostic data and integrates to create a plan of care.
• Administers respiratory therapies (heliox, nitric oxide, CNB Chest Wall Oscillation).
• Provides education to patient and/or family members.
