Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to establish and manage mechanical ventilation with high proficiency and minimal supervision. You will refine care plans daily and communicate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, are RRT certified, and have at least two years of clinical experience. This full-time, on-site role includes a broad benefits package and 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from AMA Accredited Respiratory Therapy program; RRT credential required.
• ACLS/BLS/NRP certifications are expected as per hospital standards.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and manages mechanical ventilation with high proficiency.
• Develops daily ventilator care plans and communicates with the care team.
• Performs diagnostic testing and interprets results to support care decisions.
• Provides patient and family education and participates in QI activities.
