Amerit Fleet Solutions is a leading provider of fleet maintenance and repair services across the United States. The Vendor Relations Specialist is the front line of Amerit's vendor management operation, handling onboarding, qualification, and day-to-day relationship management with a national vendor network.

This role is highly communicative, with about 40% of time on phone calls, and collaborates with the Manager of Vendor Relations & Dispute Resolution to ensure vendors are properly set up,

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong phone skills and ability to build rapport with external contacts.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy.
• Ability to learn new software quickly (Zendesk a plus).
• Proactive, self-starter with independent judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions confidently.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and research qualified vendors to meet Amerit's needs.
• Conduct initial outreach and lead qualification discussions.
• Partner with Manager on vendor selection and due diligence oversight.
• Guide vendors through onboarding and document compliance.
• Maintain vendor accounts and documentation in Zendesk.
• Ensure contracts and compliance docs are current before live.
• Develop expertise on vendor requirements and communicate them clearly.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and Amerit customers.
• Coordinate vendor communications with key accounts.
• Monitor vendor compliance and expiration of docs.
• Ensure vendor numbers are active and properly set up.
• Maintain onboarding paperwork per standards.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Procurement, Operations, and Management.
• Proactively communicate to resolve issues.
