Job summary

VARITE is seeking a Manager, Vendor Relationship Management to support VRM operations in Foster City, CA or Parsippany, NJ. This hybrid role combines project leadership with governance improvements across clinical development partnerships.

You will manage day-to-day activities, create presentations, and drive process optimization with internal teams and external vendors. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in vendor management within biotech or pharma, strong communication and analytical skills,

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 5+ years in vendor management or project management in biotech/pharma.
• Strong project management and vendor governance experience.
• Experience in vendor relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in Clinical Trial Delivery or Drug Development lifecycle preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day VRM operational activities to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead initiatives to improve vendor governance and collaboration across teams.
• Develop presentations and internal materials for VRM group.
• Identify and implement opportunities to mature workflows and vendor management practices.
• Partner with internal teams to strengthen relationships and communication.
• Support governance, reporting, and insights to drive improvements.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, and documentation for internal and external audiences.
