Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of a global grocery group, is seeking a Vendor Support & Relationship Management Analyst in Quincy, MA. The role supports the vendor management team across multiple departments, focusing on developing and maintaining vendor relationships, managing performance, and optimizing contracts.

Hybrid work includes 3 in-person days at core locations (Quincy, MA among others) and 2 remote days.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States full-time through the end of appointment.
• 2+ years of vendor management, procurement, account management or P2P experience.
• Understanding of end-to-end procure-to-pay processes and standards.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent customer service and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Interpersonal skills to build positive vendor/internal relationships.
• Detail-oriented and organized with multiple priorities.
• Proficient in MS Office and vendor management platforms.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of accounting basics (AP/AR).
• Willingness to travel ~5%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary vendor contact, researching and resolving inquiries.
• Coordinate between internal teams and vendors for smooth collaboration.
• Regularly assess vendor performance and provide feedback.
• Assist in negotiations and contract renewals with vendors.
• Monitor vendor compliance with policies, SLAs, and regulations.
• Support vendor audits and risk assessments for improvements.
• Collect and analyze vendor performance data and prepare reports.
• Track KPIs and suggest action plans to improve vendor performance.
• Contribute to process improvements in vendor management workflows.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
