Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Vendor Support & Relationship Management Analyst to support the vendor management team within the VMO. You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure effective vendor relationships, monitor performance, and aid in negotiations and contract renewals.

The role requires strong communication, end-to-end P2P understanding, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, supply chain management or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years in vendor management, procurement, account management or procure-to-pay roles.
• Understanding of end-to-end procure-to-pay ecosystem and related principles.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence.
• Customer service orientation to protect and promote ADUSA reputation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for vendors, addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Facilitate cross-team communication to ensure smooth vendor collaboration.
• Regularly assess vendor performance and provide actionable feedback.
• Assist in negotiations and renewals to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor vendor compliance with policies, SLAs and regulations.
• Support vendor audits and risk assessments to identify improvement areas.
• Gather and analyze vendor data, prepare management reports.
• Track KPIs to measure vendor management initiatives.
• Identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with Category, Supply Chain, Legal and Finance on strategy.
• Participate in vendor meetings, sharing insights and updates.
