Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA in Scarborough, ME, is seeking a Vendor Support & Relationship Management Analyst to collaborate with vendors and internal partners to optimize vendor performance. The role blends relationship management, negotiation support, and data-driven improvement initiatives.

Hybrid schedule: 3 in-person days at core locations and 2 remote days, with responsibilities spanning cross-functional coordination and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, supply chain, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in vendor management, procurement, account management or procure-to-pay.
• Understanding of End-to-End P2P ecosystem and ability to apply principles.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills for influencing and collaboration.
• Proficiency with MS Office and vendor management platforms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for vendors, researching and resolving inquiries.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and vendors for smooth collaboration.
• Regularly assess vendor performance and provide feedback to vendors and stakeholders.
• Assist in negotiations and contract renewals to achieve favorable terms.
• Monitor vendor compliance with policies, SLAs, and regulations.
• Assist in audits and risk assessments to identify improvement areas.
• Gather and analyze vendor performance data and prepare reports for management.
• Track KPIs to evaluate vendor management initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Category, Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance to align strategies.
• Participate in vendor-related meetings and provide insights.
