Job summary

Populus Group in Michigan is seeking a Supplier/Vendor Onboarding Specialist to guide contractor onboarding and screening processes. The role supports hybrid work options, with candidates residing in Illinois or Michigan considered. You’ll collaborate across onboarding, vendor billing, and audits while keeping contractors

Responsibilities

• Create an elevated onboarding experience for independent contractors and suppliers.
• Schedule, facilitate, and evaluate screenings, onboards, re-vettings, and extensions.
• Communicate onboarding requirements to contractors, suppliers, and PG Customers.
• Provide real-time onboarding status updates and coordinate start dates.
• Maintain contractor files throughout onboarding.
• Assist with data entry and maintenance for onboards in various tools.
• Coordinate with Vendor Billing Services to ensure accurate bill/pay rates.
• Provide invoicing details for first submissions.
• Assist with customer and internal audits.
• Help set up background and drug testing with Employee Screening.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and stay updated on guidelines.
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures regularly.
