Job summary

Cypress HCM in Lehi, UT is seeking an Ex Vendor Specialist to manage onboarding, supplier information, and procurement workflows.

You will coordinate via GEP Quantum, Ariba, and ERP systems, track renewals and POs, resolve invoice issues, and partner with Vendor Managers and suppliers to keep processes on schedule and compliant.

This contract role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in vendor management, purchasing, procurement operations, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and coordinate supplier onboarding requests and drive them to completion.
• Create and monitor purchase requisitions and follow up on purchase-order creation and approvals.
• Track renewals, contract expirations, and PO expirations; coordinate renewal-readiness activities.
• Prepare supplier performance inputs, KPI calculations, and review materials.
• Log, investigate, and track vendor issues, credits, queries, exceptions, and follow-up actions.
• Coordinate invoice and payment exception resolution with suppliers, AP, and stakeholders.
• Maintain operational trackers, dashboards, and audit-ready documentation; reconcile against systems of record.
• Escalate SLA breaches and unresolved issues to Vendor Managers as needed.
