Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Vendor Admin Lead in San Francisco to own the global vendor master data and ensure clean, compliant records. You will manage onboarding, bank-detail verification, 1099 flags, and SOX controls, while designing access models to keep vendor data secure.

You will build the function from the ground up, leveraging process automation with Claude and partnering with finance and risk teams to scale controls for a fast-growing AI company.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in vendor master/AP operations or equivalent.
• Experience owning vendor master end-to-end across multiple entities/countries.
• Hands-on experience verifying bank details and preventing payment fraud.

Responsibilities

• Own vendor-master setup, bank details, and tax flags.
• Lead 1099 reporting and supplier onboarding processes.
• Maintain vendor structure, deduplicate records, and manage consolidations.
• Manage SOX controls: maker-checker, change logs, and evidence retention.
• Collaborate with Finance Systems to maintain ERP security and separation of duties.
