Job summary

CFS, a privately held manufacturing company, is seeking a Master Data Analyst (Vendor Master) in Houston, TX to ensure vendor data accuracy and governance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, validate banking details, and maintain vendor master integrity across ERP systems.

You will analyze data quality, remove duplicates, support vendor onboarding, and participate in process improvements that boost efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data management within an ERP environment.
• Experience with vendor/master data or enterprise master data management preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Call vendors to verify ACH and banking details.
• Fill out bank verification template.
• Evaluate processes, setups and change requests.
• Update vendors with banking requests.
• Assist with backlog of vendors waiting to be validated.
• Remove duplicate vendors and obtain W-9 info.
• Review, approve or reject vendor setup/change requests with data accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure requests are complete and meet standards.
• Analyze reports to identify data quality issues and maintain vendor master integrity.
• Investigate and resolve vendor master data issues and respond to inquiries.
• Communicate with external vendors to gather and validate information.
• Assist with vendor management training materials and sessions.
• Help improve forms, procedures, and master data processes; identify efficiency opportunities.
• Participate in projects focused on vendor master data governance and team effectiveness.
