Job summary

MARS Solutions Group seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Vendor Master & Supplier Compliance Analyst in Charlotte, NC. You will manage supplier master data, ensure regulatory and tax compliance, and support AP operations including invoice and payment processing during slower periods.

The role requires expertise in W-9/W-8 forms, FTINs, 1099s, and global banking data, with opportunities to lead process improvements and collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Legal, and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Vendor Master Management and Accounts Payable.
• Experience maintaining supplier master data within an ERP system.
• Working knowledge of W-9 and W-8 tax documentation.
• Experience supporting or participating in 1099 reporting processes.
• Knowledge of domestic and international banking requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end supplier onboarding, updates, and deactivations.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant supplier data.
• Perform vendor master audits to identify duplicates or inaccuracies.
• Maintain supporting documentation and approvals per audit requirements.
• Conduct third-party risk assessments and due diligence.
• Collect and maintain tax documentation (W-9, W-8BEN/8BEN-E).
• Validate tax classifications and reporting requirements.
• Ensure supplier data supports accurate withholding and reporting.
• Review and validate domestic and international banking information (IBANs, SWIFT, routing).
• Support payment investigations and supplier inquiries.
• Identify opportunities to improve onboarding, compliance reviews, and maintenance processes.
• Document standardized procedures and controls.
• Participate in system implementations and process transformation.
• Lead or support vendor master governance and automation projects.
• Create reports to monitor vendor master quality.
• Provide backup AP support (invoice processing, inquiries, payments, month-end).
• Assist with Concur/AMEX administration during low-volume periods.
