Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services seeks a Vendor Oversight Specialist to manage an existing network of third-party service providers and ensure ongoing compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role involves reviewing documentation, tracking contracts, and maintaining effective vendor communication.

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Outlook, Excel, and Visio.

• Organize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent document interpretation and comprehension.
• Experience in financial services; mortgage servicing, auditing, finance, compliance or vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a network of third-party service providers and monitor their compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Escalate compliance issues to leadership when needed.
• Monitor and maintain vendor oversight, including contracts milestones and termination documents.
• Manage vendor management inbox and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
• Coordinate vendor invoices and document updates in the vendor management system.
• Conduct due diligence for new vendors and collect evaluation documents.
• Act as the main point of contact for vendors and provide ongoing updates.
