Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Manager, Vendor Management to own enterprise vendor governance across a portfolio of strategic suppliers. The role collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure service levels, performance, and value.

As an individual contributor, you will help drive risk management, contract adherence, and efficiency through data-driven oversight, research, and strong relationship management.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a mid- to large-size organization, preferably supporting vendor management.
• Familiarity with vendor management, procurement, supplier governance, or third-party risk management processes and tools.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Advanced analytical and research capabilities, with the ability to gather, evaluate, and synthesize vendor, industry, and market information.
• Proven ability to identify issues, solve problems, and appropriately escalate.
• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate across internal and external partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to all levels of the organization.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, accountability, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance across vendor relationships and performance.
• Partners with Procurement, Risk Management, Legal, Finance and Business units to support vendor-related initiatives and governance activities.
• Provides consistent oversight of vendor performance and service delivery.
• Tracks, escalates, and supports remediation of vendor-related issues and service disruptions.
• Maintains critical service and governance documentation to support operational continuity.
• Resolves invoicing challenges efficiently, reducing administrative burden on the business.
• Performs vendor research to provide insight into company financials, strategy, market presence, and competitive positioning.
• Supports enterprise initiatives, vendor assessments, and ad hoc leadership requests to enable informed decision-making and maximize vendor value.
