Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Vendor Lead to strengthen governance, risk management, and strategic relationships across an assigned portfolio of enterprise vendors. The role collaborates with Procurement, Risk, Compliance, Information Security, Finance, Legal, and suppliers to provide transparency into performance and risk while driving long-term value realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience listed below.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in vendor management, supplier relationship management, procurement, sourcing, operations, risk management, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience managing supplier performance, service levels, scorecards, business reviews, or vendor governance.
• Experience working across business, procurement, risk, compliance, and supplier stakeholders to resolve performance, risk, or operational issues.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule consisting of reporting to 100 Church Street, NYC every Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen vendor governance and portfolio management across assigned vendors.
• Establish and maintain governance calendars with reviews, scorecards, risk assessments, and governance activities.
• Coordinate governance activities for center-led and centrally managed vendors with owners and suppliers.
• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs and drive remediation actions.
• Lead business reviews, QBRs, and governance meetings with stakeholders.
• Manage vendor risk and issue management with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Develop strategic vendor account plans and align vendor capabilities with business objectives.
• Maintain governance records, scorecards, and performance information in enterprise systems.
