Kapitus, Inc. is hiring a Vendor Governance & Controls Analyst to coach Vendor Relationship Managers through governance requirements and to enable business unit leaders with training across the vendor lifecycle.

The role bridges policy and practice, enforcing accountability and driving measurable scorecard outcomes across the enterprise. It requires governance expertise, facilitation skills, and an ability to influence without direct authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, or related field.
• Experience in governance, controls, or third‑party oversight in financial services.
• Proven ability to coach and enable business stakeholders.
• Experience facilitating training/workshops for business audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for vendor onsite assessments.

Responsibilities

• Coach VRMs on governance requirements during RFPs without owning the process.
• Design and facilitate end‑to‑end Vendor Lifecycle Training for stakeholders.
• Ensure scorecard execution and timely completion with accountability for results.
• Partner with VRMs during vendor onsite assessments and observe performance.
• Lead vendor accountability initiatives including action plans for underperformers.
• Enable business leaders with governance tools and frameworks for oversight.
• Monitor adherence to vendor governance policies and provide remediation guidance.
• Produce governance reporting and trend analysis for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Procurement, and Risk to align controls across lifecycle.
• Champions continuous improvement and executive visibility in governance practices.
