Job summary

Kapitus, Inc. seeks a Vendor Governance & Controls Analyst to enforce governance, enable business units, and drive behavioral accountability across the vendor lifecycle.

The role blends governance expertise with training facilitation and executive influence to ensure compliant, high-performance vendor management. You will coach VRMs, facilitate training programs, manage scorecard outcomes, and collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Procurement, and Risk to translate policy into practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Organizational Development, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in vendor management, business controls, or third-party governance within financial services.
• Demonstrated governance, training, or compliance focus and ability to coach stakeholders without direct ownership of policy.

Responsibilities

• Coach VRMs on governance requirements and scorecard processes while not owning the RFP process.
• Design and deliver end-to-end Vendor Lifecycle Training for VRMs and leaders.
• Own scorecard accountability and drive timely completion and actionable follow-ups.
