Job summary

Convergenz is seeking a full-time Vendor Maintenance Support in Washington, DC to support a government client’s financial operations team. This short-term contract is expected to run for approximately 4.5 months and will be on-site from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

The role focuses on vendor data entry and maintenance within PeopleSoft, reviewing vendor documentation, updating records, supporting payment processing, and responding to vendor inquiries with a commitment to accuracy

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with PeopleSoft, specifically Vendor and Accounts Payable modules.
• 3+ years of Microsoft Office Suite experience.
• 2+ years of experience working in a high-volume customer service environment.
• High school diploma or higher.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, confidential team environment.
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Washington, DC, Monday through Friday, generally 8:30 AM–5:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update vendor and customer profiles within PeopleSoft.
• Process vendor additions, modifications, and other vendor maintenance requests.
• Collect, review, and maintain W-9 and vendor certification documentation.
• Validate vendor banking, tax identification, and other required information.
• Assist with vendor information needed for IRS Form 1099 reporting.
• Work with Accounting staff to support timely vendor payments.
• Review vendor records for completeness, duplicates, and data accuracy.
• Perform database cleanup and maintain accurate vendor information.
• Respond to vendor questions and follow up regarding required documentation.
• Assist with maintaining standard operating procedures related to vendor maintenance.
• Process a high volume of calls, data entry, and documentation while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
